Cerise is well regarded in the UK as well as here in the US, as a vibrant, creative, personable and meticulous feature film Producer, having worked exclusively in the motion picture industry for over ten years, and establishing a solid reputation for physical, hands-on production, as well as a creative flair for script development. A veteran of international film festivals from which she has a good knowledge of Anglo-American filmmaking and film markets, Cerise is uniquely positioned to nurture long-standing relationships with international co-financing and co-productions. As an active member of both the Producer's Guild in the US, and of the British Film Academy in UK and the US, Cerise has been invited to sit on the judging panels for both the ASPEN FILM FESTIVAL and CINEQUEST for 3 years running, showing her continued support and dedication to young and talented filmmakers, and her continued love and support for quality filmmaking.
A graduate of the University of Stirling in Scotland, with a degree in English and French Literature, Cerise headed straight for a career in film, her very first independent production EDITH’S FINGER (Easylife Films) winning her a coveted BAFTA Award. Since that time, Cerise built her UK production career steadily - as Production Manager, Line Producer and then Producer on a variety of television dramas, documentaries, commercials and independent feature films. In 2006 Cerise produced LAND OF THE BLIND starring Ralph Fiennes and Donald Sutherland, followed by I COULD NEVER BE YOUR WOMAN, the Amy Heckerling comedy starring Michelle Pfeiffer and Paul Rudd. WOMAN marked Cerise's official move to Los Angeles, so beginning the pan Atlantic life of Untold Pictures, her own production company set up for the development of independent feature film projects in US and Europe.
Since that time Cerise has Executive Produced 2 feature films - Wyndham Price's ABRAHAM'S POINT starring MacKenzie Crook (Pirates of the Caribbean, The Office), and THE UNDERSTUDY with Marin Ireland, Richard Kind and Aasif Mandvi, a New York based comedy written, produced and directed by Hannah Davis and David Conolly (Mansion Pictures).
Cerise continues to oversee a variety of feature film and television projects with Untold Pictures and remains involved in all aspects of script development, film financing, packaging, and film production for Untold's upcoming slate of projects.
